Meatloaf with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

 

o        1 10 ½ ounce can cream of mushroom soup

o        1 ½ pounds ground beef

o        1 ½ cups soft bread crumbs

o        1 medium onion

o        ¼ cup chopped parsley

o        1 egg

o        1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

o        1 ¼ teaspoon salt

o        ¼ teaspoon pepper

o        ¼ cup milk

o        1 pimento, chopped (optional)

 

To Prepare…

 

1.       Combine ½ cup soup with remaining ingredients, EXCEPT THE MILK & THE PIMENTO.

2.       Pack in 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

3.       Bake in moderate oven – 350 degrees – approximately 1 hour.

4.       Pour off liquid; turn loaf out on hot platter.

5.       Heat remaining soup with milk add pimento and pour over loaf.
