Magic French Fudge

From: Grandma (Mom Smith), 1975




o        3 packages (6 ounces) of semi-sweet chocolate chips

o        1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (15 ounces)

o        1 ½ teaspoons vanilla

o        ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

o        pinch of salt


To Prepare…


1.       In double boiler, melt chocolate chips over hot water.

2.       Remove from heat.

3.       Add milk, vanilla, salt and nuts.

4.       Stir until smooth

5.       Pour into a wax paper lined or well buttered 8 inch square dish.

6.       Chill about 2 hours before serving.


Notes: Makes about 1 ¾ pounds

Store in air-tight container
