Kielbasa & Cabbage
From: Grandma (Mom Smith), February 1987
o 1 head of cabbage
o 1 ring of kielbasa
o 1 package of carrots
o About 4 to 6 medium potatoes
o Bay leaf and salt to taste.
1. Cut cabbage in half, take out core, then quarter the cabbage.
2. Put cabbage, bay leaf, and salt in large pan.
3. Cover with water and cook about 10 minutes.
4. Add carrots and potatoes.
5. Cook until almost soft – about 1 hour.
6. Add kielbasa and cook about 10 to 15 minutes.
7. Drain water and serve.
