Classic Macaroni Salad
From: I don’t know, but Mom often made this during the summer for family picnics
o ¾ cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise
o 2 tablespoons vinegar
o 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
o 1 teaspoon sugar
o 1 teaspoon salt
o 1/8 teaspoon pepper
o 8 ounce Mueller’s elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
o 1 cup sliced celery
o 1 cup chopped green or red pepper
o ¼ cup chopped onion
1. In large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
2. Add macaroni, celery, green/red pepper, and onion; toss to coat well.
3. Cover and chill.
Notes: Makes about 5 cups
